It's been around a year now
Though I don't know the exact moment
Of Our beginning
Seems like no time at all
I miss what we had
The knowing of what lies deep
Within you
The intimacy shared and feelings felt
And while we may never return to that
I'm joyous in what we've become
Thankful I've been kept in your life
Friends when we need that shoulder
Friends to share in the great moments
Of each others lives
