To My Orchid

I'm reminded of a lovely orchid

Purple hues reminiscent of the late

Moments of a mountain sunset

Its beautiful fragility eclipsed only

By the resilient strength within

You are the flower, the bloom

With reserves of strength belied

By grace and inimitable beauty
