Vivid oranges and yellows marking
A new day on the horizon nearing bloom
A sunsets multicolored glory is often seen
As an end to the day as the red-orange fades
To increasingly deep purples and darkening blues
But it too is a beginning, a way to reset what
Has transpired and to look towards the coming day
Finding a new beginning feels like a mountainous
Endeavour but its known, the prettiest sunrises
And sunsets can be seen from mountaintops
