Rarely in life do we get a glimpse
Into the depths of someone's soul
Heart, feelings, and very character
Then unexpectedly you're allowed
To see not just a small part of these
But deep down, an oceans trench
To the bottom of their entire being
And you're in awe as if exposed
For the first time to the wonders
Of this world, in all their glory
Thankful of more than just a glimpse
